Empowering entrepreneurs to create what’s next

About
Our story
Our team has known each other for almost two decades. We are a Puerto Rican, Haitian, American, and Jamaican partnership. As a group we embody the immigrant experience of working hard, pushing ahead, and believing in your dreams. In 2007 after working closely together for several years we decided to start an investment vehicle called Visionario Group. Over the years, we continued to invest together, and work together, always guided by the same set of values: integrity, compassion, and respect.
In 2018 we became LPs of one of the first UK venture capital firms focused on underserved female and minority founders. We learned a great deal. In 2022 after years of seeing the strength of diverse teams, and the potential of people who may not always fit a predefined mold, we decided to start Visionario Venture Capital.
